Erin Bell will join Manchester Thunder for British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship
The former Aussie Diamond, erin Bell, will join Manchester Thunder for the British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship in October.
The contest, which is live on Sky Sports on October 12, is famous for bringing in high-profile gamers along with the announcement of Bell’s coming sets the tone for this year’s championship.
ANZ Championships were won by the old shooter using Adelaide Thunderbirds and NSW Swifts, also played for Collingwood Magpies before retiring at the end of 2018.
She is no stranger to netball having led the side in the 2014 World Series and she’ll be a part of some Thunder squad that will contest for the British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship title at the Copper Box Arena.
“Erin is among those netballers any coach would like to use – passionate, experienced and also a proven winner”, said Karen Greig, Manchester Thunder’s manager of netball.
“She describes All-Star so I’m delighted to have signed her to this year’s Fast5 championship in the Burger Box. I can not wait to watch her court at the black and yellow”
The championship includes also a Golden Buzzer Power Play, an all-star five-point line and 12-minute games that the tournament is an afternoon of netball.
Wasps Netball will likely be looking to defend their crown in the Box Arena and fans will be eagerly anticipating All-Star signings over the forthcoming weeks.
