Five-time winner Roger Federer is out of their US Open following the Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria won a thriller that is late night to conquer the fantastic.
Dimitrov fought for a memorable 3-6 6-4 3-6 6-4 6-2 triumph in New York although federer, 38, had won seven of their previous meetings.
Injury hampered federer permitting victory to be run away with by unseeded Dimitrov.
28, dimitrov, will play Russian fifth seed Daniil Medvedev in the previous four.
