Jurgen Klinsmann appointed Hertha Berlin manager

Jurgen Klinsmann was named as the new head coach of Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin.
The 55-year-old has signed a deal to displace after having appointed in the summer Ante Covic, who was sacked from the club on Wednesday.
Covic was with Hertha since he signed as a player in 2003, also took a set of training roles at the club after retiring from professional soccer in 2010.
Klinsmann was named on the supervisory board of Hertha but has been assigned coaching duties after the team lost his last four Bundesliga matches, slumping with 11 points.
The final managed the USA team from 2011 guiding them into the round of 16 from the 2014 World Cup.
He returns to the dugout in his country after directing the team into the semi-finals in a nine-month stint in charge of Bayern Munich in 2009 and their 2006 World Cup campaign as hosts.
As a player, he spent two seasons across two charms at Tottenham, scoring 38 goals while also playing Inter Milan, Monaco, Bayern Munich and Stuttgart.
Klinsmann will take charge of the first Bundesliga game when they sponsor Dortmund on Saturday.
