Temple vs. East Carolina NCAAF Pick – Week 6

Week 6 of this school football schedule kicks off Thursday night with a couple of games. If you can associate it, East Carolina along with temple is the game of the afternoon. It is only because South Alabama and Georgia Southern isn’t going to move the meter much. I have historically done quite well during the week on some of those arbitrary , so draw them on.
East Carolina and temple are equally above .500 entering Thursday. This season is still very alive for both of them. With respects to East Carolina, they have not beaten anyone, however. Their greatest win was last week against Old Dominion on the road.
Temple have wins over Maryland and Georgia Tech, so that they have a couple of matches. ECU did triumph as underdogs on the street against Old Dominion a week. The Owls go into Thursday night. Temple have been a ranked team.
It was in 2015 if Temple and Notre Dame with a chance played at becoming a major competitor at the FBS. They ended up losing that match, and Temple was on a downslide pretty much ever since. The Owls haven’t been much of a threat since and haven’t recovered from this match. Last calendar year, in any case, Temple did go awry. It did not go well in a 56-17 loss to Duke, though.
Anthony Russo is back for the 2nd consecutive season, so helps give a serviceable signal caller to Temple. Russo was up and down with 14 interceptions and 14 touchdowns, so it was not a good year . However Temple has somebody competent to run the offense. We can’t say for East Carolina together with Holton Ahlers. Head below to our free Temple vs. East Carolina select.

Anthony Russo has come out firing at 2019 with 10 touchdowns and 6 interceptions on the season for Temple. So, he’s only 4 touchdowns away from matching his total from last year. Together with 1,071 passing yards, he’s getting close to half the yardage he pitched in 2018 with 2,563 metres. He’s led the Owls in total into a respectable 433 yards per game. That’s good for 49th in the FBS. The player in the crime has to be Re’Mahn Davis.
Davis is a newcomer. He’s coming off a campaign against East Carolina a week. Davis has rushed for 346 yards over a 5.8-yard average per carry. East Carolina are all 68th in the country with 151.4 yards afforded a match. Also keep in mindthe Pirates and with a running group have not played . Temple aren’t really good, but Davis should nonetheless have the ability to find running lanes against this unit.
The ECU defense is that the least of their concerns, though. The Pirates have been anemic with Holton Ahlers running the crime. Ahlers has finished only 54.1percent of his passes and has passed for 4 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. He has had to problems leading this group to points, with only 21.5 points scored a game for 111th in the country. Have been Navy along with NC State.
The field was conducted off on both matches. NC State surfaced them by a score of 34-6 and 42-10 against Navy a couple weeks ago. Their win was vs Gardner Webb. Not the stiffest competition. Another triumph of theirs this year came with a score of 19-8 against William & Mary. To put it differently, Temple would readily be their win far.
Temple have dropped over Maryland and Georgia Tech. Their defense was strong with just 17.3 points allowed per game. Especially, their secondary was leading the way, allowing just 151.3 metres per game across the atmosphere. That is going to be the gap in this matchup from a useless departure attack of East Carolina.
I am not likely to get suckered in using all the house dog in this one, although at first glance, those points all look attractive. Temple need to be able to control the speed of the game Thursday night and are better. This is not Chris Johnson ECU or Gardner Minshew. Ahlers is currently going to find it challenging to find the ball downfield with consistency about the Temple D. Start looking for the Owls to pull out late to get a win.
